We have timed the launch to put pressure on the FDA in light of new research that emerged last week confirming that when young people have access to EC they are more likely to use it AND that prophylactic access to EC did not make young women more likely to engage in unprotected sex, have more sexual partners or use EC as regular birth control!

Further, the FDA is set to rule later this month on Barr Laboratories' resubmitted application to make EC available over the counter, but only for those 16 years old or over. We are hoping that this ePSA will put pressure on them, while educating young people all across the United States about how they can get EC before they need it.
