Scandal erupts at the North Pole when the most powerful man on Earth is sentenced to rehab for a minor traffic violation. But when he finds himself in a detox program run by the estranged Mrs. Claus, Santa's desperate struggle to conceal the truth about his arrest, uncovers another sordid secret that could mean the end of Christmas-as-we-know-it. Written by Jeff Goode whose very popular 8 Reindeer Monologues has been a staple at regional theaters everywhere. And this great new comedy features 7 Santas the way you have never seen them before.

  • It's a theater premiere that inaugurates a new performance space in the Minneapolis theater district!

Ensemble Productions presents the premiere of Jeff Goode's Seven Santas, a dangerously dark comedy about Jolly Old St. Nick as you've never seen him before. The last place you'd think to look for Santa is where you'll find him in this show - at an AA meeting, getting to the root of what made (and unmade) him the icon he is today. Be prepared for a wild romp through Santa's personal history as he struggles to balance his virtues and his vices under the cynical eye of Mrs. Claus, the woman who regrets knowing him the best. Alternately hilarious, touching, and bizarre this is a Christmas show for mature audiences only.

Seven Santas will be the first production in Spill the Wine's chic upstairs performance space. Seating is cabaret-style and a special menu of beverages and appetizers will be available for purchase throughout the show. Sample one of the special drinks invented just for the occasion, or check back here soon to purchase a Dinner and Show package.

Seven Santas is directed by Grif Sadow and features Mark Benzel, Jim Bitney, Peggy Endres, Matthew Glover, Bryan Grosso, Kevin McLaughlin, David Schlosser, and M. Scott Taulman.

At Spill the Wine, Nov. 30 - Dec. 22. Tickets will go on sale soon. Click here to join our mailing list and be the first to purchase tickets to this show.
