  • CASTING NOTICE

    Savin' Up For Saturday Night- A new country-western musical. Lovin' ain't easy in this one-honky-tonk town, and when the bandleader and the bartender fall for the same dance hall girl, you can bet all heckfire's bustin' loose. It's an evening of non-stop toe-tappers, cat fights, and love quadrangles.

    Doc- Male, Lead,Baritone/Tenor to play late 30's early 40's. The Easygoing Bartender

    Lucinda- Female, Lead Mezzo Soprano to play late 30's early 40's- dance experience a plus. The Jilted Ex-Wife

    Eldridge- Male, Lead, Baritone/Tenor in the style of Jerry Lee, to play late 30's early 40's- Must play guitar. Dance experience a plus. Country Western Singer, a Legend in his own mind.

    Patsy- Female, Lead. Mezzo Soprano, to play 20-25. Guitar playing ability a plus. An ambitious waitress turned singer, willing do ANYTHING to get to Nashville. Great comedic timing a must.

    All must be proficient in the country western/ honky tonk singin' style.

    Dancers- age and sex open. Must move extremely well, Country line and couples dancing experience a plus. Fun lovin' bar patrons.
