You were not "happier" under Trump.

Each morning in the Trump White House began...

...with a meeting about "winning the media cycle".

This is Trump's entire concept of the Presidency. He believes that as long as everyone is talking about him, he is "winning".

And it doesn't matter to him if it's good or bad. He has always been a "no news is bad news" type of guy. Any publicity is good publicity. That's why it seemed like every single day, Trump was doing something else absolutely enraging. Because he was literally trying to do exactly that.

And before you go gloating because "ha ha owning the libs LOL". Nope. He *also* planned nonsense that he knew would piss off his own followers. Trump's warped sense of Leadership is that, as long as half the country is mad as hell and screaming their heads off at the other half of the country, no one will ever challenge him.

Yes, you may have experienced the bitter schadenfreude of knowing that your enemies were even more miserable than you. But you were NEVER happy under Trump. Because for four years straight, he worked very hard to keep you miserable.

 

Joe Biden has been a great President for us, regardless of politics, because you don't have to think about him every single day. You *don't* wake up each morning dreading what the President might have tweeted last night. You *have* experienced happiness. Even in this moderate democratic dystopia.

 

But now you're angry again. And it's not because of anything Joe Biden did. Or Kamala Harris. Or anyone else.

It's because Trump is back. And he is at it again. You are angry and outraged because Donald Trump wants you to be that way. Every single day. For the next four years.

Nobody deserves to be needlessly angry all the time.
