LIGHTS UP ON:
A gaggle of PLAYWRIGHTS.

Suddenly, they brainstorm, loudly.

Enter a LATECOMER, crosses to the group. Stands beside them and brainstorms quietly.

One by one, the Playwrights stop and stare at Latecomer.

Latecomer stops, embarrassed, crosses to a corner of the stage and hangs head in shame.

Playwrights resume brainstorming loudly.

Latecomer brainstorms quietly to self in the corner.

Playwrights stop, turn toward Latecomer who continues to brainstorm quietly in the corner.

Playwrights exchange glances.

One by one, they cross over to stand near Latecomer.

Latecomer feels their presence, stops brainstorming, turns toward them.

Suddenly they all start brainstorming quietly in the corner.
LIGHTS SLOWLY FADE.
