At the moment, the only
American Dragon items
that I know of
are the videogames from
GameBoy and Nintendo -
Rise of the Huntsclan
and
Attack of the Dark Dragon.
A few years ago, the good folks at the Disney Channel got burned
very badly on merchandising for a couple of their TV shows
- short-lived series that left the Channel holding a large inventory
of toys and t-shirts that they couldn't get rid of.
Now, as a result, they
try to be overly-cautious about producing toys and T-shirts for their shows
until they've had a solid ratings for
at least 2 or 3 seasons.
Unfortuantely, for the fans, this means
it is extremely rare for Disney Channel to do merchandising of any kind,
because most of their shows are scheduled to run only 3 seasons anyway.
So your best bet for getting your hands on some dragon swag
is just to keep writing to Disney and let them know that you want it.
Contact the Disney Channel. Visit disney.com.
And if you're ever at Disneyland, be sure to ask them where the American Dragon ride is.
Eventually they'll get the picture.
Disney is actually one company that is very good about trying to give the audience what they want.
